Old inserts being phased out:

we will no longer be able to repair the original Taps only inserts as parts are no longer available. Customers are able to purchase a USB programmable insert

 

USB Insert being updated 2010:

An update to parts used in the Ceremonial Bugle Insert has caused us to do a redesign. We have used this opportunity to make further improvements to the insert which includes new 2 inch speaker, Silver finish to match bugle, USB 2.0, better power supply,  better sound and more memory for additional calls.
